Hi, I’m Victoria Davis.

I’m a teacher.
But I’ve mostly been a student. I spent twenty years searching for answers, applying remedies, integrating practices. Now I’ve have taken all those learnings and packaged them in a way that works.
How do I know they work?
Because they’ve worked for me (and countless others). Here’s why that’s relevant, and how I know they’ll work for you…

I was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder at the age of nine. A ‘textbook’ case was the way the specialist stamped it. My mind ruminated obsessively, and behaviors resulted compulsively. For me, this was a disorder. In modern times, this is a dysfunction. And it’s a dysfunction that affects about 94% of the population (as per the national institute of science in a recent finding that 94% of the population identifies unwanted or repetitive thoughts as a familiar component of their own minds).

My life experience has been the dramatization of what is now commonplace in the western world. We do our damndest to mask, and ideally rid, ourselves of it. I’ve spent more than a decade researching non-pharmaceutical routes to subdue these involuntary mental processes, and all that I do now is the result of that research. It was by trial & error for me, but all the work I do now is so that it doesn’t have to be that way for you.

These practices work. And for a mind ruled by the burden of involuntary thought loops (reminders of what’s been and the responsibility, or concern, of what’s to come) this can be life changing

If you don’t know what it’s like to fully feel the body you’re in now, entirely present without concern, with all five senses active, with a fresh mind basking in all that is present reality, take a deep breath.

There is a way to quiet a mind that just doesn’t stop.
There is a mute switch to the voice that won’t turn off.
There is a remedy to the nagging notion of ‘one more thing to do’.

You know so much already. It’s my job to highlight whats useful, help dissolve what’s not and teach you a few key practices that just might change your life. Forever.

My job is to guide you to the other side of sanity

It’s a beautiful ride. Guaranteed.

My Story

Victoria was raised on a farm in the Midwest, far removed from eastern ideology. Her first foray into movement practice was at the young age of 3, training in gymnastics from early childhood into her teenage years. She was first introduced to eastern practices through the physical practice of yoga in 2010 and quickly recognized the immense healing potential of the study. She began meditating & studying Buddhist philosophy shortly thereafter and has been teaching a combination of the practices since 2015.

Known for her optimism, enthusiasm & compassionate approach to teaching, she recognizes mind-body practice as an integral aspect of mental & physical wellbeing and meditation & yoga, in particular, as a direct route to deep transformation & radical change.

Victoria is the founder & operator of WellspringMind, a New York based organization offering meditation in office spaces. Recently expanding the company to private & small group meditation & yoga, WellspringMind specializes in mental balance for high performing business minds. She also runs the Meditation & Yoga program at the Gregor Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy in Brooklyn Heights, NY.

YOGA

While gymnastics isn’t quite yoga, it was a strong foundation. I began practicing properly in 2010 and completed my first certification in 2015. I’ve completed 200hr, 500hr, and 800hr trainings with Sri Dharma Mittra at The Dharma Yoga Center, with ERYT200 & RYT500 certifications.

MEDITATION

Meditation training isn’t quite as certification-forward as is the physical practice of yoga. I began meditating in 2012 at the Three Jewels in New York City, and currently study under B Alan Wallace & Douglas Veenhof.

Through many-day, many-week, and month-long retreats, I’ve spent about 4-months in guided seclusion since beginning study. I’ve been teaching meditation since 2015.
